Do you have any pre-tanning recommendations?
-
Complete waxing, pedicures, facials, and hair appointments at least 24 hours before your tan.

Shave and exfoliate 24 hours in advance using a scrub to remove dead skin and help your tan last longer. Avoid shaving right before your appointment.

Arrive with clean skin — no makeup, lotion, perfume, or deodorant, as these can interfere with the tan and cause streaks or discoloration. Don't moisturize the day of.

Wear dark, loose-fitting clothing and flip flops after your session. Avoid tight clothing for at least 5 hours. Going braless and wearing long sleeves and pants is ideal.

How should I maintain my spray tan?
-
It's normal to see color rinse off during your first shower — that's just the bronzer. Your actual tan will continue to develop after.
-
Avoid sweating, washing hands excessively, or rubbing your skin before your first shower to prevent streaking.
-
Shower at the time recommended by your tanning consultant. Use a gentle body wash or shower gel, not bar soap.
-
Moisturize daily with an alcohol-free lotion to keep your skin hydrated and extend your tan. Dry skin causes uneven fading.
-
Avoid exfoliating, waxing, shaving, and harsh scrubs to keep your tan intact.
-
When showering, use your hands instead of a washcloth to avoid rubbing off the tan.
-
Avoid long hot baths, pools, and hot tubs — these speed up exfoliation and cause your tan to fade.
-
If swimming or soaking, apply waterproof sunscreen to help protect your tan.
-
Products with Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) will cause your tan to fade faster — avoid them while your tan is on
